PetroEd provides digital certificates which can be accessed through your SkillGRID account from the E-learning page.

For IADC-accredited courses, your certificate will be sent to the email address attached to your account by the IADC accreditation system. Please contact us if you have any problems receiving an IADC certificate.

SkillSTICK is a specially manufactured USB drive that contains an off-line version of the SkillGRID workforce development platform, SkillSTICK stores and manages users’ training progress and allows the user to train and learn on a computer in either on-line or off-line mode.

A subscription is needed to gain access to SkillGRID to store and properly sync your information. This allows you to view and manage your valuable data via the on-line version of SkillGRID as well as the off-line version of SkillGRID hosted on SkillSTICK.

No, the initial SkillSTICK registration must be completed on a computer that has an active Internet connection. Registration must happen the first time you plug the SkillSTICK into a computer.

You may only have one Position on each SkillSTICK, but you may change your position at any time. When you change Positions, all of your previous training Items will carry over to the new unit. You do not need to purchase a new SkillSTICK to change positions.

No, your data will not be lost, but to regain access to your data, you will have to renew your annual subscription and pay an account reactivation fee.

If you are using a computer with an active Internet connection, there is no need to download courses to take them. However, if you are off-line, you must have previously downloaded your eLearning courses to your SkillSTICK in order to access them off-line.

Your data and progress could get out of sync. To keep your data current, you must sync the data between the SkillSTICK and SkillGRID. If you plan to use your SkillSTICK off-line, be sure to synchronize the data beforehand if you wish to have the most recent certificates and information while using SkillSTICK off-line.

Most users will not require administrative permissions to run SkillSTICK, but you may need permission to install a compatible Internet Explorer (8 and higher), plug-ins, or to disable your firewall or set your Internet browser as an exception to it.

Although you don’t need to download a specific application to run SkillSTICK, SkillSTICK and SkillGRID require Internet Explorer (8 and higher) to run as well as popular plug-ins such as Flash Player, which may need to be installed if they are not already installed on your device.
